The Division of General Pediatrics at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) provides comprehensive, high-quality care for children from birth up to 16 years of age, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of pediatric conditions.

Inpatient Care

Our inpatient services provide specialized care for children requiring hospitalization, including:

Assessment, diagnosis, and management of common pediatric conditions.
Management of highly complex pediatric cases, coordinated with pediatric sub-specialties.
Care for patients referred to SKMC for advanced tertiary management, in collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams.

Outpatient Care

Our outpatient services support ongoing pediatric care, follow-up, and specialized clinics, including:

Growth and developmental assessment, including failure to thrive and developmental delay.
Follow-up care for children after complex neonatal courses, including prematurity.
Ongoing management of:
- Rare genetic disorders
- Complex neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy
- Post-congenital heart disease
Care for children who are technology-dependent, including those with tracheostomies or gastrostomy tubes
