About Me

Dr. Rana Ahmad Bitar underwent postgraduate training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in the United Kingdom. She previously led the Pediatric Hepatology unit in the North of England and played a key role in pediatric nutrition and endoscopy training. Currently, Dr. Rana is a Pediatric Gastroenterology Consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City since 2016 and an Assistant Professor at Khalifa University since 2021. She also serves as a Clinical Director for the Special Olympics UAE.
Dr. Rana is an active researcher with multiple publications in international journals, contributing to advancements in pediatric gastroenterology. She is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and the British Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.
