About Me

Dr. Muhammad Badar uz Zaman is a senior consultant transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgeon at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, where he leads the Division of Transplant & Hepatobiliary Surgery. He has over 30 years of clinical experience, including 18 years as a consultant, with training in Ireland and the UK. He played a crucial role in establishing SKMC’s transplant program, which has successfully performed over 650 kidney transplants for adults and children.
Dr. Zaman has a strong interest in healthcare management, quality improvement, and medical education. He serves as an examiner for the Emirati Board of General Surgery and is affiliated with esteemed international transplant organizations
