Dr. Mohamed Ziani is a senior consultant urologist and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi. Before joining SKMC in 2007, he was a leading laparoscopic surgeon at Clinic du Parc Capio Group, France, specializing in minimally invasive uro-oncology surgeries. In 2008, he performed the first laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in the UAE and pioneered laparoscopic live donor nephrectomies, having completed over 300 such procedures. He obtained his Medical Doctorate from France in 2001 and holds French boards in General Surgery and Urology. Additionally, he earned an MBA from London Business School in 2013. His contributions to urology and kidney transplantation have significantly advanced the field in the UAE.
