Dr. Juan Pablo Montiel is an experienced pediatric cardiac surgeon with extensive expertise in neonatal cardiovascular surgery and congenital heart disease. He earned his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 2011 and began his career at “Hospital de Pediatría S.A.M.I.C Dr. Prof. J.P. Garrahan,” where he progressed through residency, chief residency, and an instructor role before serving as a staff surgeon from 2017 to 2019. He later led the Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Department at “Instituto Cardiovascular Infantil” (2019–2021) and worked as a staff surgeon at “Fundación Favaloro” Hospital Universitario (2017–2019). Since July 2022, he has been part of the Cardiac Science Department at SKMC. Dr. Montiel has contributed to scientific literature, with publications in the Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
