Dr. Huda Sadek is an experienced Consultant Physician specializing in Paediatric Neurodevelopment. She completed her postgraduate training in the UK from 1999 to 2014, obtaining CCT in Community Child Health Neurodevelopment Paediatrics and CCT in General Paediatrics in 2010. She worked as a Neurodevelopment Consultant Paediatrician in the UK for three years before relocating to the UAE in 2014. During her tenure in the UK, she was a clinical lead for the under-five clinic service, a panel member for autism spectrum disorder assessments, and regularly conducted developmental assessments for high-risk infants and children.
In the UAE, Dr. Sadek has been instrumental in establishing Neurodevelopment clinics at Mafraq Hospital and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), focusing on children with developmental difficulties due to genetic, metabolic, and congenital disorders. She also oversees neonatal graduates requiring neurodevelopmental evaluation. Dr. Sadek has been the primary supervisor and tutor for the SSMC and SKMC Neurodevelopment residency rotation for the past seven years, contributing significantly to medical education and training in her field.
