I am a General Surgeon with over 10 years of clinical and surgical experience (including 5 years post-residency), specializing in elective, emergency, and minimally invasive procedures. Currently, I am working at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi, where I provide patient-centered surgical care with a strong focus on safety, precision, and evidence-based practice. My areas of expertise include laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, hernia repair, trauma and emergency surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and oncological surgery.
I completed my MBBS from Rawalpindi Medical College, followed by FCPS training in General Surgery through the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. I also hold MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Throughout my career, I have worked in tertiary care hospitals, teaching institutions, and emergency surgical settings, managing a wide range of complex cases. My experience includes acute care surgery, damage control surgery, laparotomy, tube thoracostomy, and a variety of laparoscopic procedures such as cholecystectomy and appendectomy.
In addition to my clinical work, I have been actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior doctors, residents, and medical students. I regularly participate in surgical workshops, trauma courses, and professional conferences to stay current with evolving techniques and standards of care. I am committed to combining technical skills, compassion, and clear communication to achieve the best possible outcomes for my patients and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of surgical practice.
