About Me

Dr. Ayesha Rashed AlMheiri is a dedicated pediatric rheumatologist with extensive experience in managing autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions in children. She completed her medical degree at the University of Sharjah in 2010 and pursued her pediatric residency at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, where she obtained her Arab Board certification in pediatrics in 2016. She further specialized in pediatric rheumatology with a clinical fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland, followed by an advanced fellowship focusing on childhood-onset systemic lupus erythematosus at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Dr. AlMheiri has a strong interest in healthcare quality and patient safety, holding a master’s degree in quality and safety in healthcare management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She has actively contributed to research in pediatric rheumatology, presenting her work at international conferences. In addition, she has been involved in quality improvement projects at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing clinical care standards.
