Dr. Asma Ali Alnuaimi is the first UAE national pediatric pulmonologist, instrumental in establishing this subspecialty in the UAE. She holds American, Canadian, and European board certifications in pediatric pulmonology and has a special interest in cystic fibrosis and chronic non-CF bronchiectasis. In addition to her clinical role, she has held multiple administrative positions, including Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Zayed Military Hospital and Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
Dr. Alnuaimi has received the Abu Dhabi Medical Distinction Award for Best Clinical Performance and is actively involved in medical education, guideline development, and medical ethics. She chairs the SEHA oversight IRB in Abu Dhabi and has completed an Executive Master’s in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s in Biomedical Ethics and Law.
