Dr. Rania Mohammed Abu Rahma is a nephrology consultant at SKMC, whose work is focused on Renal Transplant patients
During her last 9 years in nephrology department, she has gained experience in dialysis, renal transplant, general nephrology, and renal pathology.
A Palestinian national, Dr. Abu Rahma obtained her MBBS degree from Dubai Medical College in 2010, finishing first in her batch. She then served in a four-year residency program in internal medicine at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi from 2011 till 2016 then moved to Al Raha Hospital in 2017 after obtaining her license as an internal medicine specialist. At Al Raha she concentrated on outpatient coverage.
She joined the Nephrology Fellowship Program at SEHA in 2018 after which she completed her Arab Board in Nephrology by the Arab Board Council in Jordan. Dr. Abu Rahma is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom & European Board of Nephrology.
She is also a member in the American Society of Nephrology [ASN]
More recently, Dr. Abu Rahma was enrolled in European clinical Transplant Fellowship
