Dr Marcus Yeung is a UK-trained Consultant Pediatrician with around a decade of front-line NHS experience and a core in general and acute pediatrics. His practice centers on the recognition and management of the acutely unwell and deteriorating child, pediatric emergency care, and pediatric high dependency (Level 2) care.
He is valued for the general-pediatric and critical-care liaison role — identifying, monitoring and coordinating children who may require escalation or critical-care transfer — and for clinical leadership in busy acute settings, managing triage, prioritization and patient flow. He is passionate about caring for sick children with complex medical needs and long-term conditions.
Across consultant posts in acute and high-dependency pediatrics, he has held governance and critical-care lead responsibilities and developed clinical guidelines in areas including pediatric sepsis and time-critical emergencies. Earlier senior fellowships in pediatric intensive care and in pediatric transport gave him real depth in stabilizing the critically unwell child — experience that strengthens his bedside practice rather than defines his role.
A committed educator and mentor, Dr Yeung supervises registrars, international medical graduates and foundation doctors, with consistently exceptional teaching feedback. Above all, he places patients and families at the center of care — known for calm, individualized communication and a holistic approach across the patient journey.
