Dr. Muhammad Tufail is a consultant pulmonologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, with extensive experience in interventional pulmonology. He completed his specialist training in respiratory and general medicine in London and pursued a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at Glenfield Hospital. Before relocating to the UAE, he served as a consultant at the Institute for Lung Health, Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, where he was the lead for lung cancer services.
Dr. Tufail is an expert in interventional pulmonology procedures, including EBUS, medical thoracoscopy, and cryobiopsies. He has been a faculty member for various pulmonary interventional courses in the UK and played a key role in quality improvement projects. He has also contributed to medical education by establishing an international MRCP PACES center at SKMC Abu Dhabi.
