He obtained his medical degrees from Benha Faculty of Medicine, Egypt, and later earned the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ophthalmology from Glasgow, UK.
Since relocating to the UAE in 2011, Dr. Ahmed has been serving as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. He is also an esteemed faculty member at Benha University, Egypt, and an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. His contributions to ophthalmology extend to research and teaching, with active memberships in leading global ophthalmology societies.
