About Me

Dr. Tehmina Khan is an Infectious Diseases Consultant at SKMC, where she has been serving since July 2013. She earned her medical degree in Pakistan in 2004, followed by her Internal Medicine residency at Lutheran Hospital Center, New York, and Infectious Diseases fellowship training at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, USA. Dr. Khan holds American Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Medical Quality. She serves as Chair of the Infection Prevention and Infection Control Committee (IPIC) at SKMC and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. She is also a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and plays a key role in mentoring residents as Clinical Core Faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
