Mohamed Medhat Ali Arnaout

Biography

Master degree and Doctorate in Neurosurgery (MD, PhD), Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University, European Board of Neurosurgery (EANS), FACS. Dr. Arnaout is a member of several international societies which include: CNS (Congress of Neurological surgeons) Middle East Spine Society, EANS (European Association of Neurosurgical Societies), ASIT "Association of Surgeons in Training", NASS "North American Spine Society". He worked as a clinical and/or research fellow in the following countries: Turkey (Izmir), Italy (Bologna, Modena, Rome& L`Aquila), Germany (Mainz) and United States of America (Pittsburgh& Weill Cornell New York). He was invited as a faculty and organizing committee for the Skull base and vascular bypass course held in November 2019 and November 2021 in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He is a peer reviewer for international journals, besides the national and international publications as World Neurosurgery. His main research interests are; the endoscopic skull base, pituitary and other minimal invasive cranial and spine surgeries. He has many publications in prestigious international journals beside book chapters in international neurosurgical books. He joined SKMC on February 2021 as specialist Neurosurgeon. SKMC neurosurgery is service of excellence in pediatric, neuro-oncological and traumatic brain injuries.
